got extremely bored before deciding to go to bed so i decided to make a little picture.

the following is from a REAL picture taken off my other pc that i no longer use anymore that just sits around collecting dust (and it's only a year old as well, lol).

enjoy!

And sometimes it takes a few hours for somebody to tell you that the problem is your shitty PC, not your shitty OS.

Any OS that has requirements 4-5 times higher then OS before it is a shitty OS.

Vista is a shitty OS, or, if you prefer, a paid (that is, you paid for it) beta-test of Windows 7. Enjoy wasting $100+ on a bugged piece of junk that runs slower than XP and supports less software/hardware.

hehe yea, vista is bad. it wasn't the pc that was crap (as mentioned abedeus), it was the fact that sometimes (ok... i lied... a LOT of the times) vista woulda become unbelievably buggy and just totally freeze on crap. the PC works just fine otherwise it's just the fact that it has vista on it that i tossed it aside and left it in my closet to die.

atm i am now running a custom rig.

Case: Apevia X-Jupiter G Type
OS: Windows XP (ftw!)
RAM: 4 Gigs
VGA: 2 nVidia 9800GTX+ (SLi ftw?)
HD: 2 180GB in RAID 0
PS: Apevia Warlock 750w
Misc: 3 Blue Internal LED lights

aaand that's it. it's a beast. it feels good being able to run w/ x36QAA and still hit over 400 FPS (but i alway have it caped at 60 [since that is my screens refresh rate] otherwise b/c i value my eyes and leave v-sync on ^^) and be able to load first in AB at all the tim (and anywhere else i go) and to be able to play games such as Crysis on "Very High" with x8AA (and i also jack up ALL the setting in my nVidia control panel to the max for maximum results xD). :>

-cough- sorry. >.< shutting up w/ this before my e-peen starts to show *double checks zipper* xD

Good for you.

Yes we all know Vista sucks. Too bad it's mainstream (or it's going to be). I think Gates made a pact with all hardware providers; he provides shit OS with incredible high requirements, and they don't sue him.

I assumed that each of your 9800 GTX+ has 512MB of memory.

XP 32bit typically shows 3.2 - 3.6 if you have 4GB installed - so that sounds about right.

Vista is a bloated resource hog that at this point in time has one single and very miniscule advantage over XP. That being that it supports DX10. I am more than happy to stick with XP for as long as need be.

Bah. Despite that fact, I'm going to go with Vista Ultimate when I get enough money to do so. I'm also needing to do some upgrades to my computer to make it happen. Hopefully I'll get it done in two to four months.
